Pagani Reveals Soft Top For Huayra Roadster

Pagani introduced Huayra Roadster last March, and the drop-top tire marked an uncompromising approach to driving in the open air. In fact, the Roadster is actually 176 lb. lighter than the coupe. The lower reinforcing weight comes from a choice of two peaks: hardtop carbon fiber and soft top.

This is a soft shell that Pagani has seen very carefully to ensure that the materials have met a very high level. In order to meet the challenge and create a special peak, Pagani has brought the Italian company Dainese, better known as a manufacturer of protective clothing for motorcycles and other sports.

The roof structure is inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci aircraft and other contemporary architectural and engineering works. The structure is a combination of high-elasticity carbon fiber, developed by Pagani, linked with aluminum billets and titanium gaskets. The technical fabric developed by Dainese extends to this structure.

The Dainese R & D department has partnered with Pagaini to get the right blend of fabric flexibility and strength in each of the upper zones. This fabric also has special Dainese impregnation technology. Pagani says that the top regions follow the texture field, like origami, to get a consistent look. The company also said it would increase fabric durability in the long run and reduce the space needed to fold it.

The Roadster still features a poster-worthy look of Huayra, so sweet or hardtop. And its power is still really crazy, even with the Mercedes-AMG V-12 6.0 liter engine that produces 764 horsepower and torque of about 740 lb-ft.

Pagani Huayra Roadster's extraordinary performance will bring 2.5 million dollars to buyers. But do not bother making changes because all 100 instances have buyers.
